From a family practice to longevity medicine
Our practice has stood in the heart of Tegernsee for more than 30 years. What began as a classic internal medicine and family practice has become something without a second example at the lake: a practice that takes statutory medicine seriously and, since 2001, has worked systematically on how people age well. Long before the word longevity became fashionable, we were already working with high-dose infusions, oxygen therapies and extended lab diagnostics – and developed a conviction that still shapes every treatment today: first measure, then understand, then act.
Research, lectures and a microphone
Dr. Jochen Henn has conducted his own research on omega-3 fatty acids and has shared his knowledge for decades: in lectures at home and abroad, in the podcast Verstoffwechselt, in the magazine of the Seeseiten Tegernsee and in our own health magazine. Anyone who wants to understand how we think can read and listen to it at any time.
Spa town Tegernsee: a tradition that carries responsibility
For generations, Tegernsee has been a place people travel to for their health. As a certified spa and balneology physician, Dr. Henn continues that tradition and combines it with modern medicine: balneology and climate therapy meet cardiac ultrasound, micronutrient analytics and individual prevention programmes. The location is part of our concept – not just the address.
The practice today
On the first floor we treat all statutory insurance patients as a family practice; on the second floor our private practice focuses on longevity and preventive medicine. The core team consists of Dr. Jochen Henn and Dr. Peter Michel (our doctors), supported by an experienced practice team. What patients tell us most often: here, someone actually takes the time.

For our private-practice services (Longevity, Cardiology, Gynaecology), patients travel to us from all over Germany and abroad.

Here we care for our patients with a broad range of internal medicine and family practice services at the highest quality level. Our goal is to restore and maintain your health holistically and sustainably.
Private Practice – Second Floor – Rivahealth
Our private practice focuses on longevity and preventive medicine with a holistic approach. Focus areas include hormone consultations, gynaecology and cardiology. We offer tailored infusion programmes and state-of-the-art therapies such as Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Training (IHHT) and high-dose ozone therapy.
