After studying medicine at the University of Würzburg, he worked as a resident in orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the university hospitals in Würzburg and Munich (LMU). His doctoral thesis in regenerative medicine was awarded magna cum laude and received second place in the Best Research Paper Award at the congress of the German-speaking Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery (AGA). During his studies he was a scholar of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. He then spent several years as co-founder and medical lead of a digital health company, developing digital care concepts for chronically ill patients in cooperation with university hospitals. In parallel he supported recreational and elite athletes with modern diagnostics, wearables and individual training guidance. At Praxis Tegernsee he is completing his specialist training in general medicine and brings his experience in prevention, longevity and data-driven medicine to the practice.
